昨年11月末にMEMEのリリース記念ワンマンライブをやらせていただいた横浜RaNY betaさんの2周年を祝した対バンイベントに呼んでいただきました！
お越しくださった皆さまありがとうございました🙇🏻♀️
(かなり出遅れた投稿ですみません、、、！最早今更って感じではありますがせっかくなので8月の対バンひとつずつ振り返っていきます笑)

We were invited to perform at a joint event celebrating the 2nd anniversary of Yokohama ReNY beta, where we held our MEME release celebration solo show at the end of last November!

横浜RaNY betaさんといえば私たちの背後にあるLEDディスプレイ！
ライブ中、視界の隅に曲に合わせた派手な映像が入ってくるからすごく新鮮な気持ちになると同時に、他のライブハウスにはない一体感が感じられて今回もめちゃめちゃ気分上がりました！

When it comes to Yokohama ReNY beta, it's all about the LED display behind us!
During the show, the flashy visuals matching the music catch the corner of my eye, which feels so fresh. At the same time, there is a sense of unity that you don't find at other live venues, so I got super hyped this time as well!

この日はClock up!始まりのセットリストで、最近対バンではやっていなかったマリンスノウ(遡ってみたら6/5ぶりだった！)も途中に入れたりcolor chordやbiT bY biTでみんなと一緒に歌ったりして、いろんなNEK!の表情を楽しんでもらえたかなと思います！

On this day, our setlist started with "Clock up!". We also included "Marine Snow" in the middle—which we hadn't played at a joint show recently (when I checked back, it was our first time since June 5th!)—and sang along with everyone on "color chord" and "biT bY biT." I hope everyone got to enjoy the many different sides of NEK! !
"Marine Snow" is so deeply touching, so even though it's out of season, I always end up wanting to put it in the setlist ⛄️ lol.

対バンは曲数が少ないからこそなんの曲をやろうかっていつもすごく悩むんです。対バン相手の楽曲性にある程度合わせにいけるのは私たちがジャンルレスにやってるが故の強みかなと思ってて、でもNEK!と言えばこの曲だよね！みたいな定番曲はどれも外したくないし、、
定番曲はありがたいことにどんどん増えていってるし、、笑
いつもたくさん悩みながらみんなで話し合って決めてます🙂↕️

Because joint shows have a shorter set, we always spend a lot of time agonizing over what songs to play. Being able to adapt our set somewhat to the musical style of the other bands is a strength that comes from our genreless approach. At the same time, we never want to leave out signature songs that make people say, "This is classic NEK!"...
And thankfully, our list of signature songs keeps growing and growing... lol.
We always discuss it together as a band and think it through carefully before deciding 🙂↕️.

この日はいつもeggmanでお世話になっている窪田さんがマネージャーをしているosageさんと、去年のミナホで出番が前後だったレイラさんとご一緒できてとても嬉しかったです！
先輩方それぞれの素敵なライブを観てたくさん勉強させていただきました🔥

On this day, I was so happy to share the stage with osage, whose manager is Kubota-san (who always takes care of us at Shibuya eggman), and Layla, who performed right before/after us at Minaho last year!
